FESA Employment & Recruitment Fair: Top 10 Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why should I attend the event?
A: The Employment & Recruitment Fair is a phenomenal opportunity to network with potential employers, learn about application requirements, and explore a variety of career opportunities within education.
Q: Who can attend the event?
A: Teacher Candidates in all cohorts (Year 1 and Year 2) are invited to attend the event. B.Ed. students at off-site locations (i.e. Catholic Education Centre, TMU, Glendon, etc) are also encouraged to attend.
Q: What is the cost?
A: The event is FREE for all current teacher candidates! However, registration prior to the deadline is required.
Q: How do I sign-up?
A: Information Coming soon!
Q: Who will be attending the event?
A: Representatives from Public and Catholic school boards across Canada, as well as international teaching organizations, will be in attendance.
Q: Am I required to bring a resume/cover letter/portfolio?
A: Participants are not required to present a resume/cover letter/portfolio. These items are optional. The various school board and organization representatives will provide further direction regarding resume/cover/portfolio requirements.
Q: Will there be on-the-spot interviews?
A: Some school boards/organizations have expressed interest in hosting on-the-spot interviews.
Q: What is the dress code?
A: Participants are encouraged to exercise their own professional judgement regarding their dress.
