Andrew Hammond

My name is Andrew Hammond and I recently completed my undergraduate degree in Educational Studies here at York University. I am now in my first year in the Bachelor of Education program with my teachable subjects in geography and social science. 
I am honoured to be your Director of Professional Learning for the 2024-2025 year! 
During my time with FESA, I hope to support our diverse learning communities by ensuring that we all gain valuable experiences through the many meaningful workshops, lessons, and networking events we have to offer! 
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with loved ones, staying active, and exploring new hobbies. Whether it’s trying out a new sport, traveling to different places, or diving into a good book, I believe in making the most of every moment. 
I look forward to working with each and every one of you, as we collectively grow, learn, and support one another throughout our time together here in the Faculty of Education!
